Love the strings at the end.
Makes me happy when I find cool songs they don’t play on the radio.

This singer reminds me of a little bit of Gavin DeGraw mixed with Ray LaMontagne and Rocco de Luca!

Heard this song, and I LOVE it! I love oldies…too bad music today isn’t as awesome as this. Here it is for you’re listening pleasure.

I love Michael Franti…reminds me a little of Ben Harper and Matt Costa!
Really like Never Too Late too:
I Need You

I love the strings and driving beat in this song. It’s a good reminder that I can’t do this on my own…every time I want to take control of the things in my life, whether it’s figuring out ways to pay off my loans, planning for wedding stuff, or finding the right fellowship to get plugged in to…I realize that God’s always waiting for me to come back to him. I’m reminded of Romans 12:12, which says, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.” When I trust in God to take care of me, I know that He will deliver and that I don’t need to worry or stress out. I’m so blessed and at peace because I know that God’s got my back.
Take My Hand – Shawn McDonald
They’re not exactly female, nor are they indie artists…but I kinda like this mashup of the Scientist from Page & Silver Medallion, Coldplay, and Drake. Check it out here:
I Never

Being in love makes you realize things about yourself that you wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. Having to be in a wedding party also makes you realize things about yourself (especially your physical appearance) that make it really hard to accept the way you look. Changes must be made very soon…or else people will be very upset and there will be repercussions. There are just a little too many emotions running around in my head…but this song will hold me over for now.
